ARE YOU COMMITTED TO MAKING A DIFFERENCE TO THE CARE OF SENIORS?

Ken Health Care’s service philosophy centers on the belief that our clients should have the opportunity to express their independence and live with dignity, freedom of choice and control over their life – as much as possible, regardless of their level of need.

To make this vision a reality, we employ only the best people – those who are committed to the provision of high service standards as well as professional development. Therefore we use every opportunity to train and refresh the knowledge of all workers and run a programme of Continuous Professional Development (CPD).

Work Experience

Ken Health Care offers work experience to nursing and social care students from several schools who want their students to have solid practical training. We assist students to establish their bond between youth and age, which is an aspect of Jamaican life that must be built to give seniors a sense of community and support.

Over the past 10 years, we have also enjoyed an active partnership with the Hyacinth Chen School of Nursing at Northern Caribbean University and their nursing students who come to Ken Health Care for their practicum in geriatric care.

We are often inundated with requests for work experience and because of the high degree of training that we offer, places for work experience are limited and extremely competitive. However, we make exceptions for applications from diligent, keen and naturally empathetic carers. Get in touch if you think you fit our bill.
