Living far away from Mom, we had concerns about how to coordinate her move. But without any hesitation Mrs. McKenzie (who we affectionately call ‘Aunt Lyn’) chipped right in, arranged the move, personally picked her up and stayed by her side while she settled in… Just imagine the comfort and gratefulness we felt.
Mom spent the last four years of her life at Ken Health Care. Her last three weeks were spent in hospital and again, Aunt Lyn arranged for her caregivers from Ken Health Care to be with her on a rotating basis for 24 hours, to provide that comfort for Mom and for our family. They even took time from their busy schedule to journey to Kingston to join us in the celebration of her life.
From day one, we were highly impressed with the overall facility. Friendly professional staff, a clean, spacious organized environment; great food preparation, ease of communication with the staff and affordability. Our family can all confidently recommend Ken Health Care.
